(Per Pres? Association. AUCKLAND, this day. The launch Eileen Bell, owned by W. I’. Bronlund, and valued at £ISOO, caught lire last night from an explosion caused by fumes from the cargo igniting. Mr*Bronlund had a narrow escape from the cabin, the roof of which was blown off. tie was severely burned. The city brigade extinguished the flames. The cabin was destroyed and the bull was somewhat damaged. The cnginS was damaged to the extent of £SCO.
