> AUCRLAND; last night. Mr. W. T. Parata, president of the Bav of Plenty! Rugby Union, has accepted the managership of the Maori team to visit Australia. WELLINGTON, last night. Tlie New Zealand Rugby League has accepted an invitation from New South Wales to send a team to Sydney this season, when. matches will be played against New South Wales and Queensland in Sydney. The League lias also cabled to Queensland suggesting dales for a number of matches to bo played in that State. —Press Assn.
