NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council, held on the 25th day of January, 1921, the following Resolution was passed, and was duly confirmed at an Adjourned Ordinary Meeting of lhe said Council held on Tuesday, the Bth day of March, 1921. RESOLUTION: “In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by ‘The - Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,’ ‘The Motor Regulations Act, 1908,’ and amehdments thereto, the Gisborne Borough Council hereby, makes a By-laiw (By-law No. IX.) requiring all drivers of motor vehicles to obtain a certificate of competency and to bo duly licensed.” It was resolved that such By-law should come into force on the Ist day of April, 1921.
