HOSPITAL BOARD FINANCES.
A latter received by the Borough Council at last evening’s meeting from the Hospital Board suggesting the formation of a smail committee from the Council to confer with the Finance Committee of the Board and delegates the other contributing bodies, wfth regard to the capital expenditure and the means of finance of the Board, as affecting the local authorities. Cr. Hill asked the Mayor if he could give for public information the reason why the capital expenditure should bp so high, A committee consisting of the Mayor and Grs, Mouat and Mirfield was appointed.
