MEN ANXIOUS TO RESUME
GREAT LOSSES TO TRADE. SYDNEY, Feb. 15. 'Die Seamen's Union met at Freeman's Hall and discussed the strike situation. The tone of the meeting seemed to be to force the executive to bring, aboutf a . settlement. At the conclusion of the meeting it was officially announced that the men are anxious to resume. As the result of the bold-up phenomenal losses have been incurred in all branches of the wholesale trade. Since the stewards struck there has been practically no exporting-; while interState trade has suffered badly. The export of fruit to New Zealand has also been largely interfered with.—U.P.A.
