Ail buildings- in the hnan--1 cial district were shaken. 5 Tho explosion occurred at noon, caus- - ing great confusion m the iiiaiTow streets, *, which were packed' with 'people. ■ No members of the Morgan' firm' were injured, though the 'interior of tho office A*ag. damaged. The 'Stopk\Fx-chaaige closed for the day. The -police announced that fifteen persons are known to be dead. The police s are unable to state officially the cause "> of the explosion,' but a swarm. of Federal i* agents are investigating the matter, and " the opinion is expressed that the disas- • ter was 'the result of a 'collision between g a motor and a waggon loaded with trinitrotoulol.
