-_• I The Mangapapa Town Board, election .wife- held yesterday, 332 -persoW recording their votes out of. a total roll number of 768. At the town bootii 97 votes were recorded, and - 235 at 1 - lhe M&ngapapa booth. Messrs W. J. McClisflde, C. Fenwick and 3. R. Redstone; members of the ■last-'- Board, were returned, while Mr T. HowJttth, also a member off' tho old Board, tied with Mr W. Stubbings X^ new candidate) with 152 votes each for seventh place. Should the recount." leave the position a tie then the returning officer (Mr H. E. Hill)' ' has ft casting vote. The new members elected comprise Meßgrs P. Gardner,- J. H. -Hall arid J. W. Hudson. The recount prob-ably-be held to-morrotf. The results of the poll were as under: —
