The" Prime Minister moved m the House of Representatives that the Speaker should be directed to issue a warrant to the Clork of Writs, .to make out a writ £ or /the . electiou of^a member for the Bay of Plenty, m succession /to the late Hon. W. D. S. MacDooald.. The, Leader of the/Opposition <Mr. Wilford) suggested that plenty, of time, ought to be given candidate's to vitit £lie electorate, which was a very; large one.
