LONDON, oept. 10, The Electrical Trade 9 Union ha 3 given a week's notice of -a strike m sympathy with the workers locked out hj the Engineers* Employers' Federation over the dispute respecting the employment of a non-union foreman m London. The strike will affect 25,000 .workers and will stop trams, tubes, and all electrical works. LONDON, Sept. 12. The Electrical Trades Union has asked Labor Councillors m London to urge the Minister of Transport to bring pressure to bear on the -Engineers' Employers' Federation. • Several engineering firms m London decline to carry out the Federation's instructions to lock out employees.
