(To the Editor of the Herald.) Sir,— Under the above heading m last, night's paper wo are told the terrible effect, of "fire blight," which wo all, no doubt, do not wish to sec m our district. I believe, sir, it would be wise if someone who knows the disease would explain to your readers what fc-Vm it takes and how to prevent, or what to do m the supposed appearance of it. — I am, etc., ENLIGHTMENT.
