NOTES BY "T. 0." - j The match, between Kia Too. and Allieg was played* on Thursday on the Reserve to decide which team plays off for the championship with High School, the result, m a draw, one goal each. For Kia Toa Miss F. Hill scored, and Miss I. Golding for Allies. On the day's play Allies had the best of the game, but their forwards, lacked the finishing touches m the circle. For Allies, Miss Parker, m goal, had very little to do. Tlie full-backs, Mrs Lynex and Miss G. Newey, played vory solid games, tho former 'player is fhclined to speculate a bit too much. Miss Newey is a vei;y consistent player and should be very hard to leave out of the rep. team. Of the half-bncks Miss G. Fanning .as centre was the most conspicuous. She is very safe, anff hits hard, but is inclined to turn on the ball too much. Miss A. Bilham played well, but not up to her usuol form. Miss Robb played a vefy heady game. Of the forwards Miss Kay as centre played tlie best, and was weil supported by Miss J. Bilham and Miss M. Ferguson. In the first half Miss Ferguson made some fine runs down the l>lic, but she was very disappointing m the second half. Miss J. Golding plays a good game m midfield, but spoils her came by getting off-side 100 mucji, and she should cut out the obstruction. " For Kia Toa Mrs Morrison, m goal, cleared well. The full-backs did well. Miss 11. Solvander played the best game on the field; her stopping and clearing were a treat to watch.- Miss Dempsey stopped well, but should set. the ball away ♦niicker. Tlie half-line was weak. Miss Fairlio played a solid same throughout, and m the second half Miss Dixie was very solid m defence. She should get the ball away ouicker m the throw-in. Miss F. Hill pnd MissF. Solvander were the pick of the forwards. Miss J. Tones d'd not play un to her \isual form, she should centre quicker. Miss Turnbull was not un to for™. Miss Fairlie, on the wing, played well, but is inclined to sneculnfo too much, instead of stopping the ball with her hnnds.
