ADVICE TO LABOR: EVILS OF "DIRECT ACTION."
LONDON, July 13.— Mr. Arthur Benderori, writing to the Ironfounders' Union, condemns: direct action, as unnecessary and dangerous, m view of the broadened franchise. . "To endeavor to foi'ce upon the country by illegitimate means the policy of a section, and perhaps a minority, means the abrogation of Parliamentary government, and the establishment of a dictatorship by a ininority. ; "It. m^ht : easijy eventually destroy all constitutional liberties. Labor might be the author, of .this doubtful precedent to-day, but its victim to-morrovir." Mr. Henderson advocates conatituv tional methods, and urges ; thi^t there should b© no strikes without Executive authority.
