INCREASING FOOD PRICES.
There is growing concern (remarks the London Times) about the prospect of hji increase m the price of food later ir> the year. Continental food prices an generally higher than m Great Britain and the imminent raising of the blockade will lead, to a : great demand for suppj'e. from enemy countries. We understand that, pending the -consideration of tkmatter by the Cabinet, the removal of control from foodstuffs will not proceed so rapidly as has recently been the case.
