LONDON,' May 29.— »Tho Chronicle states : Widespread and deep regret will be felt both m the musical world and f arbeyond at the death, m St. Thomas's Hospital, after a long and bravelyborne illness,, of Mr. Reginald Clarko, the famous New Zealand pianist and composer. Mr. Clurki! was the sou of tho first white man horn- m New Zealand. Ho came to England early m life, and was specially well known as the compoßoi* of the most popular and best setting of Mr. Austin Dobson's ballad, "Th'c Ladies of St. James's." {
