ALLIES SEEK TO ARRANGE AN ARMISTICE.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association) WARSAW, Feb*. 16. Tlie Inter-Allied commissions are sending Allied delegations, including a British general, to Lemberg to endeavor to arrange an armistice between the Poles and the Ukrainians. The Poles with only three thousand regular troops aaid a "few guns aie d«*fending Lemberg valiantly against the Ukrainians, who are well "equipped with Austrian artillery. Polish women and children are participating m the fighting, many Polish soldiers are without greatcoats, though there are forty-two degrees of frost.
