BRILLIANT CRICKETER DEAD.
MELBOURNE, Nov. 27. Charlie McLeod, 'aged 49, who visited England m 1899 and 1905 as a mem* ber of Australian cricket , teams, died on Wednesday morning at Toorak. Ho was a steady batsman, a fin© field, and a good medium pace bowler. Charlie and his brothers Robert and Daniel, who pre-deceased him, were all •well known m inter-State cricketing circles.
