MULTIPLEX TELEGRAPH AND TELEPHONE.

Lhe New York Times' Washingtbn correspondent states that Mr Burleson has announced the invention »of multiplex telephone and telegraphy, by which nve simultaneous telephonic conversations, or forty telegraphic messages, can be sent over a single pair of wires. The practical application of the invention has been successfully tested.
