' ■ PICTURES FOR CHILDREN. j[To the Editor ot the Herald.) ,Sir,-+-Would you kindly permit mo through your columns to suggest to the picture authorities -the advisability of putting children's pictures (wdicn such are given) on" the first half ot tho programme. To me, as to many other mothers, it was most objectionable during a recent performance to be compelled to endure the sordid trivialities of tho first part while waiting for the "Babes in "the Wood." A reversal of the order would enable the children to leave when their. part of the programme, was finished — a thing which on Thursday night would have .beetj highly, desirable.— l ani, etc., ' E.
