At the court-martial of Corporal Dordinan/b, Captain Gray, cross-examined, said the accused was placed under arrest on the 16th AugUßt, and was not i allowed to see a lawyer for 17 days, nor his wifa for 10 days, though he made application. pordinant, m evidence, admitted stating to Quartermaster Moore that Captain Gray appeared to be a bit full, and that he could almost smell it over the wires. Captain Gray ordered the launch at 8 p.m. on August 1, and came down about 9.30. He swayed when going to the launch, and rolled over when he went aboard. Witness as- 1 sisted him to rise, and found he smelt strongly of liquor.
