The aon immediately loosed a. tirade of good advice against being a German. Then he threw his arm about his father's flhoulders and promised him "the best m the house."
The American mailboat Sonoma brought to Sydney last week a record mail of over 3000 bags. A portion of that mail with English dates to August Ist reached Gisborne this morning-,
