Mr. Balfour. speaking at a Greek dinner at the Cai'lbon, referring to the Salonika offensive, says: The first and second line, many trenches, also various important hills were carried. This is only the prelude to greater successes m which Anglo-Greek troops , will take an equal and glorious part.
