SATISFACTORY SOLUTION HOPED FOR. (Special to tlie Herald.) •WELLINGTON, this day. During the last'two days the miners' representatives have frequently interviewed the Hon. W. D. S. MacDonald, Minister of Mines. Their conferences "liave not concluded. The Minister has also seen the leading coalowners. No definite outcome is so far ascertainable, but the position, is hopeful.
