.HAWERA, last night.. As a sequel to the* ' South; road fatality resulting m the death of .Thomas Morgan last night, James O'Donnell, farmer,'of Ihali, was charged at the Magistrate's Court late this afternoon that oh July 24, he unlawfully filled one Thomas Morgan. a Senior-Sergeant Till asked for^a remand to enable the polico to collect evidence.
In reply, to a question hy the Magistrate, the. Senior- Sergeant said accused had surrenderecl : liimselt to the police and ninde- a voluntai-y- statement. A 7-emand was granted till Monday, bail being allowed, m. two sureties of £50 each, or .one surety 6f £100.
