FRENCH FUND.
(To the Editor of the Herald.) * Sir. — "Vive La France," would like to let G.J.B. know that his gracious letter m Thursday evenings Herald is'appreciated at its true worth and T am sure tho Women's Patriotic Association will also appreciate his generous donation,. His idea of the French flag m the street for farther donations is an excellent one and I hope will be acted upon. I trust on his return to town "G.J.8." will find that the French War Orphans fund has been considerably augumenfced by the Gisborne public. I am etc. VIVE LA FRANCE.
