IReuter's Telegram.i LONDON, July 1. At Italian official report says: — We attacked on Sunday and captured the Col del Rosso; also, after a bitter all-day struggle, we captured the Col del Hele.
The enemy's two attacks against Monte ValbeUa were completely arrested, and enemy masses were mown down by our artillery fire.
The enemy's losses on June 29 were exceptionally heavy, and 88 officers and 1925 men were taken prisoner. Our losses were very light. We repulsed attacks m. the Zulna region. 'Australian and N.fc. Cable Association.)
LONDON, July 2. News from the Italian front continues most satisfactory. The Italians have completely established themselves on the line lost on June 15.
The attack at Monte Valbella, from which the Austrians have been threatening the Piave flank, was completed within three hours on Saturday morning, and it is reported that the Austrian losses here were heavier than m all the preceding battles.
French artillery co-operated, and effected fearful execution, wiping out whole battalions.
