(Neuter's Telegram.) (Received July 3, 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, July 2. The Press Bureau reports: A serious explosion occurred on the night of July Ist at a national shell-filling factory m the Midlands. It is feared that * between sixty and seventy workers have perished. The number of injured is unknown.
A considerable part of the productive capacity of the factory was saved, and work will be resumed m a few days.
The women workers behaved splendidly, urging that they be allowed to return to work. There will be no appreciable diminution of the output.
