THE DELAYED OFFENSIVE.

GERMAN SCHEMES DISORGANISED
BY AUSTRIAN DEFEAT
(Reuter's Telegram.) (Received July 3, 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, July 2. Beuter's correspondent at British Headquarters says the fact that the Allies' persistent and successful policy of pinpricks has failed to provoke a resumption of the German attacks, shows that the delay of the latter is imposed by necessity, probably due to the difficulty of concentrating material on the ground far m advance of the railways, but it is undoubted that the Austrian defeat lias disorganised the German schemes, hence the coining blow is awaited with confidence, though it is recognised that the next three months will be critical.
