WHAT THE GERMANS CLAIM

Official : A Berlin message claims 191,---400 prisoners since March 21/ divided half between the British and French.
(Received July 3, 8.50 a.m.) A German official message states : We took prisoner since March 21 (not including wounded) 191,454, * whereof 94,939 wele English (including four generals and 3100 officers), French 89,099 (including two generals and 31.000 officers), and the remainder PotJruguese, Belgians, and Africans. We also captured 2176 guns and 15,024 machine guns.
