EVEN CHILDREN SPREADING JUGO-SLAV PROPAGANDA.

WASHINGTON, April 30. The Pan-Germans of Austria-Hungary are alive to the danger from the JugoSlav agitation, which is constantly increasing m volume and strength, as indicated by the Tages Post of Gratz, the organ of the Styrian Pan-Germans, which, according to advices received here to-day, says : — • "In addition to the agitation m representative bodies, there is a propaganda from man to man, from woman to woman, and even from child to child. The Austrian Jugo-Slavs, at the head of whom are the Slovene clergy, Deputy Dr. Kerechetz and Bishop Dr. Jeglitch, have -spread a movement among all the Jugo-Slavs, which is followed with the greatest attention not only m the monarchy, but also by all our enemies. In Ifome, for instance, they seem thoroughly to understand the character of the movement, because a special department of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is charged with arranging an agreement with the Jugo-Slavs with reference to the possession of the Adriatic, and to support this Jugo-Slav movement as such "•ith all their power. What is this movement aiming at and how is it expressed? Ita programme is contained m the May declarations of the Jugoslavs, which demand a Jugo-Slav State, with all the rights of a free state organisation. It is important to note that the realisation of this new State is expected from the general peace conference, which means neither from Austria nor from Hungary. It is further important to state that it is precisely these Catholic priests who spread and further this movement, and that, m accordance with the resolution of Zagreb of March sth, they demand this State without any limitations, and not exclusively as a part of the Austro-Hun-Karian monarchy, as was the case m the first declaration. This is evidently because they wish to have absolute freedom. It is quite comprehensible why the Serbians desire so ardently to be united with their 00-nationalists who inhabit the other side of the Danube. In one word, the Jugo-Slav State phould reach from the Drave to- the Adriatic, and from thence to the Aagean Sea."
