Alister Beaton, a reservist at Moutou, found guilty "by court-martial for failing to attend a medical parade, was sentenced to 28 days' detention.
CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The Arbitration Court gave judgment on the application of employees under the builders', contractors 1 , arid general laborers' award for an increase of the war bonus by .10 to ?0 par cent. The judgment states that the Court, after careful, consideration of statistics is satisfied that general living conditions do not substantially differ now from those existing when the award was made. Tlie majority of the Court therefore decided that the application be dismissed.
