Mr G. Stock was advised,ori Monday that his son, Private E. JJ 'Stock, is ill m the 47th Hospital, Gaza, suffering from dysentery. A hospital report received last night stated that. Private Stock was among the cades not reported as severe. ' '
Many friends m this district will learn with deep regret 'of the death of Anrdew Tuohy, eldest son of Mr and Mrs A. Tuohy, an old resident, of t Patutahi. The Gisbdrnite was kiled m action m France on April 6th. . ■ Cable advice has. been* received by Mrs Steggall, of 'Matawhero, that her son, Private B. Sttfggall, >of the 26th reinforcements, has been admitted to hospital : m ..England with .trench fever.
