The Loan is authorised to be raised under the War Purposes Loan Act, 1917, and pursuant to the New Zealand Loans Act, 1908, as amended by the New Zealand Ijohhr Amendment Act, 1915, antl. both pupital and interest will be charged upon the consolidated revenue of the Dominion. The Loan will-be Utilised by the Dominion for war purposes only, and Will take tha form either of Inscribed Stock or Bearer-bonds, at the option of the subscriber. . £200,000 of the Loan will be reserved for. individual persons who desire to invest insecurities which will be avaiiable for payment of New Zealand death duties. Applications for this class of security must be specially marked. These securities will not be transferable, but may be ex*>chanft'ed at the Treasury for other available securities, if so desired. , The issue is an investment authorised by the Trustee Act, and Trustees may invest therein. - Applications will no t be accepted for less than £100, but small investors may subscribe sums of £1 up to £500,' for a period of five or ten years, at any Postal Money-order Office.
