MAIN BODY MEN ON FURLOUGH
, (Por. .Presp. Association.) ... AUCKLAND, last night. Transports Nos. 147 and 148 arrived this afternoon, and No. 149 is due at 10 o'clock. On transport *147 are a few limbless men and one or two on crutches, but all are well on the way to recovery.. There are a number of Main Body artillerymen on furlough. There are seven decorated men, including one D.C.M. and six Military Medals. . . . On transport 148,. 50 or 60 men have lost one limb, and there are also many severely wounded, but no actual* cot casesw " There are a number oi Main Body men. There are decorated men, including, two. D.S.O.'s. . .... The men for the southern part of- the North Island and for the South Island from the three transports will leave/here by the transports to-morrcw.
