PAYMENT FOR MEAT.
A TARANAKI COMPLAINT. (Per Press Association.) HAWERA, last night. Yesterday morning the committee of, the Tarariaki Provincial Executive of the Farmers' Union met a number of gentlemen interested m the frozen meat trade, and the following resolution was carried: — "That the Government be requested to arrange with the Imperial Government for all meat purchases ,on the hooks as al farmers' co-operative' freezing companies are .being very seriously financially inconvenienced through the long delay m settlements caused. by the present system of payrhent f.o.b. 'That it be a. recommendation to! the Government tint all beef should be. boned' up before shipment m order to save ship, ping space and also to Conserve the.bories for use m New Zealand.'' i ,
