BANISHED FROM MENUS.
NO MORE LIQUOR. AT HAWAIIAN STATE FUNCTIONS. HONOLULU, September 5. The cocktail and its' ramifications have been banished from the menus at Hawaii's official banquets. For the first time m years liquor was completely ab sent from the territorial banquet recently tendered the Japanese mission to the United States. The Governor has announced that m line with public sentiment for prohibition and m keeping with Federal Food Controller Herbert C 7 Hoover's food conservation campaign, the territory would set tho example by .eliminating liquors at all public dinners.
