Sir Douglas Haig reports : — The enemy attempted a raid last night east of Loos, and met with rifle and machine gun fire, and failed to reach oqr wtfe. One was repulsed before reaching uir trenches, and thie other entered our trenches, but wa« driven out, and W took a few prsioners.
