The jumping was particularly good, only one horse touching the hurdle, but not .unseating the rider. Lougher*B Peter, and F.. Sheriffs, Jack. ; : A young girl, D l . Johnson, rode F. S. Wopd'bury's Gay. Boy, .., and displayed pluck andl skill m managing a spirited animal, which she put to the hurdles m fine style. The judges (Messrs F. Va?ighan andl J. Brown) decided to present per with £2 2s between them, as a special prize.
