Our right carried the' line' to the heights comrhajtiding Pargny and Fillaine. N Troops m the centre, hustling fresh enemy reserves, stormed the village' of Chairgeton. The advance here reached, a depth of two arid a-ha'lf miles. '< ' Thp enemy losses were v most heajyy, and included 7500 prisoners hitherto uncounted and enormous booty, including twenty-five guns.
