The correct number in connection with the cake was 253, and Mrs H. 13. deLautour, Messrs V. Mitford and A. "R-awson tied with 251. ~A white silk smocked frock, made by Mrs Horace Packe, was won by Mrs Zacliariah, and a blue silk dress made by Mrs Paynton was won by Mrs A. ./. Cameron.

The raffle for six oil paintings, conducted under special permission from the Minister of Internal Affairs, was
