UNREST IN SAXONY.
THE KING DISTURBED. LONDON, July 9. The German Press report that during the debate m the Second Chamber of tho Saxon Diet several National Liberal members stated that the whole country was seething with distrust of the King and the Government. Tlie Socialist vicaPresident, Herr F_assorf, who recently returned from the front, stated that he was qualified to give a warning. Tbe troops at the front Avere no longer actuated by a spirit of loyalty to the throne, but fought for pariotism. Dr. Zophel endorsed these remarks. He feared grave consequences unless some solution were provided. The Diet carried a resolution urging immediate democratic administrative reforms throughout the Empire. Tlie German censorship has allowed pan-German newspapers to violently attack the Emperor Karl ,of Austria for granting an amnesty to the Slavs. The Taegliehe Rundschau calls him a melodramatic sentimentalist.
