JAPAN SENdIFtRANSPORT. .-' VANCOUVER, July 12. ' It is stated m administration circles at Washington that Japan is prepared to furnish 500,000 tons of shipping., as transports fop the American troops. The plan is opposed m some quarters m Japan, as there ii. a Fear that it means the abandonment of Japanese shipping m the Pacific. In connection with the passage of the CJori-Tol of Exports Act, it is believed that tbe Administration is considering the advisability of an embargo for 60 days to enable the country to ascertain the amount of foodstuff supplies. An officia. report shows that Sweden is supplying immense quantities of munitions and material to Germany. The Allies aiie" urging the United States' to- _end no food exports to Sweden until an understa'hding is reached limiting Swedish export to Germany. ' .
