FATAL TRAP ACCIDENT.

DUNEDIN, this day,

A shocking trap acadent is reported from Queenstown. A party were proceeding yesterday to Arrowtown, via Arthur's Poin£. When on the steep incline to the bridge the horses got out of hand, and the occupants were thrown against a stone parapet. ' Mr' H. -Wear, a single man, of Christchurch, was killed. Mrs Wear had her both anus fractured. Mr and Mrs E-. Penrose, of Wellington, were also seriously injured. Mr R. Foote, of Dunedin, received bruisas and slight concussion. The injured were removed to Frankton hospital, and are progressing as well a.s can be expected.
