READY FOR REVOLUTION.
coNDrriONis m Hungary. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, May 1. The Morning Post's Hungarian correspondent says : The shadow of revolution overhangs the country. The overthrow of Czardom gave a fresh impulse to the Socialists, numbering probably a million, including anarchists. Their representatives held a secret r conference m mid-April, and issued a manifesto, greeting the Russian proletariat, congratulating it on the overthrow **■ of Czarism, and hoping to overthrow all other despotisms. Hitherto the leaders have given guarantees of orderliness, but it is: not believable that any sane man would give ' these guarantees now.
The -Hungarian army is as .ready for revolution as war.
