The Hew quay on the northern side of the ifexport dock is to be extended ta tihe eastward; thus assuring a /widening throughout of 20 feet, and an additional jingle !storey ti'krtsit shed,; 'about 540ft long by 75ft wide, ia 1 to be erected. The Result Avill- be' to provide ' additional berthihg accommodation 'ibv; a steamer of 4&Clft hi" length, and to increase the &rea of available transit sheds our this quay to upwards of 160,000 square feet.
