A French communique states : Isolated operations m the region north and south of Courciy and' north-west of Rheims appreciably enlarged our positions somewhat. There was a lively artillery duel m Champagne between Prunav and Aubereve. Our detachments penetrated far into the enemy's second line at several points m Upper Alsace.
