The areas under cultivation ior seed purposes last year were. as follows: Rye grass, Masterton County 327£ acres, Wai rara pa South 186£ acres, Featharston 100 acres. Red and . wliite clover, Masterton 302£ acres, Wairarapa South 16£ acres, Featherston 5 acres. Twelve acres of cocksfoot was harvested in the Masterton County, ' six in" Wairarapa South, and nineteen in Featherston.
