PROSPECTS OF REFLOATING CONSIDERED GOOD.
Arrangements were being made to-day to facilitate the work of the salvage H earner Terawhiti, which is expected* late to-night. It is expected tliat as these pumps are of great capacity, tlie result will prove satisfactory. Although south-east weather is predicted again today,- the conditions locally are more easterly than south-east, and this is considered more helpful than otherwise. A patch .has been prepared, but a feeling ex : sts' amongst' those m authority that vi3't is coming m from, more than one H*a*' r. Tliis, however, wall be di fielded when tlie vessel is pumped dry. A H.ca'd representative was assuredthat everything possible is being done to expeditiously secure the re-floating of ihe vessel., and that no efforts are being *l>a_*fd to obtain the best results. The prospect* of re-floating were this afternoon regarded jas good, and once off the beach, it will be necessary to take tlie ' steamer to, some poH.^for docking.
