Smooth sea were reported to-day at Russell. Tiritiri.. Tauranga, Gisborne. Napier, Timaru, Manukau, Cape Palllser, Wanganui, Farewell Spit, and Westport; it was rough ' at Cape Campbell, and moderate elsewhere. WEATHER FOREOABT. The indications are , IdrV sonth-easterly moderate to strong. Weather probably cool and changeable.^ Ba*qmeter has a rising tendency. Sea moderate swell on the coast. -Tides high. ..,>...
