BRITISH DESTROYER LOST.
MINED IN THE CHANNEL. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.' (Reuter's Telegram.) LONDON, February 9. The Admiralty reports: A British destroyer of the older type wa 8 mined when patrolling the Channel and sank. All the officers were lost. There are five survivors of the crew.
