TRENCH RAID BY NEW ZEALANDERS.

GLIMPSE OF THE ENEMY'S METHODS. Captain Malcolm. Ros**-, n Official War Correspondent with the New Zealand Forces, writing on August 17, states.: — The latest raid carried 'out by the•New ZealanTderg against -the Germans' wa a eminently successful. It was a gun of the 1916 pattern. The main feature of the German trench was the depth of the dug-outs. 'The revetting of .the trenches was done with wicker work, and the parapet was about 14ft thick.
